Born in Japan to a Japanese father and Indonesian mother, real name Shigeki known as SHIGEKO is a seasoned performer whose career spans stage, screen, and studio. He/She headlined Tokyo’s premier nightclubs and circus stages, appeared on Japanese national television as a multi-talent entertainer, and became a standout figure in Japan’s pole scene.

From 2012 to 2023, Shigeki helped build Studio Polish Tokyo into one of Japan’s most respected pole and aerial schools, with five locations across Tokyo and Okinawa. Her/His teaching style—rooted in performance excellence and deep student connection—quickly made her/his classes the most sought-after, often booked out weeks in advance.

A two-time national competition winner, Shigeki was crowned Audience Choice at Miss & King Pole Dance Japan 2019 and Exotic Generation Japan 2023 (Old-School MEN). Known for his signature “old-school exotic” style and commanding stage presence, he/she blends showmanship, technique, and empowerment into every move.

Now based in Rotterdam, Shigeki runs PoleExclusief NL, a Privé one-on-one pole studio dedicated to personalized training. Here, he/she brings Tokyo-level performance coaching to the Netherlands, offering personal training lessons in exotic pole choreography, heels technique, and custom performance prep in a clean, safe, and confidence-building space.
